We define ourselves as listeners and facilitators. We recognize the value of Indigenous knowledge and ways of life as guides for developing projects. We see each new project and each new partnership as a journey of mutual learning.

We believe that engagement and empowerment are the foundations of community building. We work to find ways to bring people and their ideas together to imagine creative solutions that improve community life.

A successful engagement process makes people feel empowered to address their collective and individual aspirations. We focus on experiential learning as an important aspect of empowerment. Learning by doing inspires confidence in one's own strengths, capacities and curiosities.

Our work is guided by a set of values that we consider essential for developing respectful, successful collaborations with Indigenous communities.
